  3. The signed transaction is broadcast to the peer-to-peer blockchain network for validation.
  4. Network nodes validate the transaction by verifying the digital signature and confirming that your wallet balance covers the transfer amount plus any additional fees.
  5. For Proof of Work blockchains, miners include the transaction in a new block after solving a computational puzzle. For Proof of Stake, validators confirm the transaction based on stake and consensus rules.
  6. Once the block containing your transaction is added to the blockchain ledger and the transaction cannot be changed, deleted, or reversed.
  7. The recipient’s wallet watches the blockchain and updates its balance once the transaction is confirmed enough times to show the payment is complete and secure.
